MACBETH 2022
In June 2022 I took part in The BRIT School’s Shakespeare Season. A Season featuring four plays put on by four different companies to be performed over the course of a week. The plays featured were Hamlet, Macbeth, Merchant of Venice and Romeo & Juliet. I worked as a Costume Designer & Maker on Macbeth for the season. This meant I worked from the initial ideas and design stages all the way through to the show day. Whilst the script was abridged and certain scenes were taken out and/or cut, the story remained the same and had a cast of nineteen actors, each playing a number of different characters.

MANAGING, DESIGNING & MAKING
Over the course of the project, with my group I had to manage the costumes (ie budget, plan & organise) as well as designing them based on our ideas from the script and our Director's brief. Once our approved designs had been planned and budgeted, we began the making process.
On the left are some of the costumes I designed alongside the final outcomes worn by the actors in the show.
